Join us for Social Media Club South Florida's October Meetup featuring a panel discussion about "Social media and the Law," featuring:

Topics include:
- Social media for recruitment: legal do's and dont's
- Social media in the workplace: social media policies, right to privacy, monitoring employees, National Labor Relations Act protections
- FTC advertising rules and mandates: disclosure for bloggers receiving freebies/payments
- Intellectual property and copyright enforcement: who owns the content
- How the CAN-SPAM act applies to social media

Finding the room: As you enter campus, look for signs pointing toward Wolfe University Center (WUC). From there, go to the second floor and the room will be in a corridor directly in front of you (whether from stairs of elevator).

Take I-95 north to 135th St.
Head east to U.S. 1.
Head north to 151st St.
Turn right. Follow the road east and the campus will appear on the left.

From Ft. Lauderdale

Take I-95 south to 826 East.
Head east to U.S. 1.
