1) David Ossip, CEO of Dayforce Inc
David Ossip is an entrepreneurial superstar, CEO, president and Founder of Dayforce, which is a leading provider of workforce management including time and attendance, labor scheduling, forecasting and budgeting, task management and employee self-service. The company has made waves in workforce management with a vastly superior user experience, a much faster application, and significantly greater business value. Prior to Dayforce, Mr. Ossip was the CEO, President & Founder of Workbrain which was sold for $227 million. He is the recipient of many awards for his leadership, including the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award as well as a nationally awarded Special Citation for Technology Innovation. Ossip was also the recipient of the Kroeger College Award for Management. In 2004, he was named to Canada’s Top 40 under 40. He will share how to create and grow a company from scratch.

2) Rhiannon Lee Traill – Biography
Rhiannon Traill is the President & CEO of The Economic Club of Canada.(
http://www.ecot.ca/) Over the last eight years The Economic Club has earned a prestigious reputation as the Podium of Record and is uniquely positioned as the only national non-partisan organization capable of staging events across the country. Its mission is to bring members and guests face-to-face with the most important, relevant and influential leaders of our time.
Each year, more than 100 key policy makers and business leaders seek out The Economic Club of Canada to make major keynote addresses. In past years, guests have included such high-profile figures as Senator John McCain; Prime Minister Stephen Harper; Victor Yushchenko, President of Ukraine; Arnold Schwarzenegger, Governor of California.
Mrs. Traill has played a major role in successfully developing The Economic Club into a national organization and is currently working on a number of international expansion projects. Bringing years of marketing, communication and business experience to her current position, Rhiannon has been able to successfully launch operations in Washington DC and Hong Kong and has generously expanded the club’s corporate and community partnerships. Mrs. Traill also heads up The Jr. Economic Club of Canada which is an off shoot organization designed to inspire Canadian youth to become financially literate. The program was launched in the Fall of 2011 and has been recognized by Canada’s Minister of Finance , The Honourable Jim Flaherty.
Rhiannon is also a published writer and a Ryerson University graduate. She currently resides in Toronto with her husband Eric and her son Luke. She enjoys golfing and running in her spare time.
3) Lisa Torjman, Manager, Social Innovation Projects
Lisa helps run the program Social Innovation Generation – or SiG – at MaRS, which provides social entrepreneurs access to resources that help them combine economic profit with social purpose. In her role as Manager of Social Innovation Projects, Lisa develops and curates programming that helps participants work through theoretical frameworks and new modes of problem solving to create positive social outcomes. Most notably, she launched Net Change, a weeklong event that explores social technology for social change, to help social change organizations use communication to become more effective in their work (
www.netchangeweek.ca). Lisa's work also includes strategy development and speaking engagements, such as O'Reilly's Ignite Series, CP24's Tech News and the Social Enterprise World Forum
4) George Babu
George Babu is responsible for Corporate Development and IP at Rypple. Prior to joining Rypple, George spent the last several years working on a variety of technology and intellectual property-related projects with both Research in Motion (RIM) and Bereskin & Parr, one of Canada's leading IP law firms. George holds B.A.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering and is currently completing his JD and MBA degrees, all at the University of Toronto. Given all that's on his plate, George doesn't sleep all that much

4) Farhan Thawar, VP Engineering at Xtreme Labs Inc.
Named one of “Toronto’s Top 25 Most Powerful People In 2010”, Farhan is a well-known and respected figure in the city’s tech community. Before joining the Xtreme team, Farhan held the positions of Chief Software Architect at I Love Rewards, the Head of Search & MSN Platform for Microsoft Canada and Technical Lead at Trilogy Software. In addition to being a programming and engineering guru for Xtreme Labs, Farhan also uses his wealth of industry and mobile expertise to mentor aspiring mobile and tech startups. Farhan has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and an MBA in Financial Engineering from Rotman.
