Starting at October 29 at 9am, the next phase of the Inside Edge Innovation Challenge ( http://insideedgebc.org/innovationchallenge ) begins. In this phase, members of Inside Edge and the broader community will gather to build a web presence and online auction site for the Howe Sound Women’s Centre’s ( http://hswc.seatoskycommunity.org/ ) store, Pearl’s Second Hand and Vintage.

The Howe Sound Women’s Centre was the winning organization from the Eagle’s Den night where three District of Squamish not-for-profits competed for the winning spot in the Digital Barn Raising event occurring on the weekend of the 29th. Inside Edge members, along with the Howe Sound Women’s Centre, local sponsors and our District community will come together to help bring greater resources to an important Sea to Sky District Not-For-Profit. If you were there, you know how impressive that night is. NOW, its time to RAISE that BARN!

Calling all Inside Edge Members: we need your help! This project is T-2 weeks and counting till we push the needle on what Squamish can really do for its community.

We are looking to our membership to drive this project to elevated success. To that end, this is the clarion call for Inside Edge to mobilize. We know how talented our membership is, and this is that opportunity to show the rest of our community.

We need a full team to pull this project off:
· Project managers
· Art directors
· Designers
· Event producers
· Programmers
· Videographers/Editors
· Business Analysts
We have a discussion on Inside Edge Meetup site, with A LOT of information about the project’s recruitment needs.

We’re working on tax receipts for the barn raisers who put in a minimum of 2 hours of helping hammer this into reality!

With the Howe Sound Women's Centre, we are organizing family and community events to occur at the Squamish Adventure Centre on the Saturday. There will be food, kids activities and we're looking to bring in some musical talent as well
