We will open with a 45 minute roundtable/planning session before jumping into a 5 hour hackathon. The S. E. C. (Super Education Collaborative) is an experiment, a super collaborative whose goal is to bring disruptive products to the educational market place. Using the amazing talent and intellect in the room, this collaborative could collectively take on a wide range of profit driving projects which all fit into a larger theme, i.e. lean education, emergent learning, adaptive / individualized education. "Global Challenge" (http://www.visualcv.com/lchazen) could be one of several profit driving projects which we bring to the educational market place." A percentage of proceeds could help to sustain the collaborative.   In other words, it's similar to an education incubator, but with less structure, and all participants will share in success.   FAQ:   Why isn't there more structure? A: There are plenty of structured hackathons like StartupWeekend, GameJam, etc. This is meant to be unstructured so that smart people can work together and *let structure emerge* that works for them.   Two hours isn't enough time? A: You can work for 2 hours or 2 days. There are no rules against using time any way you want to.   What if I want to keep all the equity in my idea? A: This is an open system. Your name will be on it and you'll own a share just like everyone else.
