November's Collaboratory Melbourne meetup sees the launch of a new series of presentations, conversations and practical workshops on how we might not only change the world, but transform it.
John Blackburn AO, former Deputy Chief of the Royal Australian Air Force, specialises in the field of Strategy, Systems Thinking and Organisational Design. John will present a model of a network-centric approach to transforming systems, take us through his experience in the Air Force of designing and implementing this model, and share his insights in to the big shifts that occurred.
We will explore how a network-centric approach can create a framework to address our most pressing social and environmental issues. And John will present the case for cross-sector and cross-issue cooperation, strategic collaboration, and the need to develop a new kind of leadership.
As Albert Einstein said, “We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.”
