Hi Friends,

3 Performance dates:
- Sunday October 30 at 3pm
- Friday November 4 at 8pm

The performers are first-rate and Jonathan Khuner conducts a wonderful orchestra. Marie Plette, Emma McNairy, and Buffy Baggott take my breath away pretty much every night. And I make my (silent!) opera stage debut. :) It's a really fun production and the singing is gorgeous. The show is entertaining - comedy and drama literally rolled into one. (And also about passion, love, inspiration, and craftsmanship.)
Tickets range from $69 - $29 (with special discounts for under 30 and under 18) and can be purchased here:

It's sung in German, and there will be English supertitles.
***FREE TICKETS***
For my friends who are artists, students/educators, struggling entrepreneurs, non-profiteers, the underemployed, those pursuing your passion in an undervalued industry, or who would simply otherwise love to see this but can't afford it (you know who you are), I can get some discretionary comps for the opening performance (Sunday Oct. 30 @ 3pm) - just send me an email.
Ariadne is a great chance to hear some rarely performed beautiful music. West Edge Opera specializes in operas with a twist. In January, I'll also be working with Mark in the fire opera "Machine" at The Crucible in Oakland. (Yup, i said, fire! And there are going to be some sweet percussionists!!) Feel free to spread the word!
Be well,
Julie
