‘LIGHT UP OVER-THE-RHINE’ presented by Ionic Collective

Join your community on Friday December 16, 2011 at The Famous Neon's Unplugged and kick start your holiday season - LIGHT UP OTR!

The event will span 4 hours, gathering a diverse community that will assemble 1,000+ luminaries. Additionally a 25 foot pine tree will be mounted as a permanent holiday fixture at The Famous Neon’s Unplugged.

The event will be outfitted with Craft Cocktails from mixoligist Molly Wellman, OTR Santa Claus, Hudepohl beer-tub elves and more wild holiday surprises you won't want to miss.

Those wishing to volunteer can meet at The Famous Neon’s Unplugged to assemble the luminaries and help with set-up. See below for a schedule of events.

COST: $1 donation or one can-good. All proceeds benefit the Freestore Foodbank.

Schedule of Events:

• 6:00 P.M. Volunteers can gather together to assemble luminaries at The Famous Neon’s Unplugged.
• 8:00 P.M. Teams will be coordinated to disperse the luminaries throughout the neighborhood.
• 10:00 P.M. All volunteers and guests will gather back at The Famous Neon’s Unplugged to gather for the first annual lighting of the OTR Christmas tree.
