The Second Annual Raise Your Glass has been rescheduled and the venue has changed. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
The rescheduled event will be held at the Ken Britton Gallery, formerly the legendary restaurant 501 Arthur, on Friday evening, 18 November, from 6pm - 9pm.
The event will feature a wine tasting contest, heavy hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment. Tickets are $75/$40 couple/single and each reservation is required to bring two bottles of wine. Reservations can be made online at
www.redeeminghope.com.
Each reservation is to bring two bottles of wine to the event for the wine tasting. One bottle will be used for the tasting contest, and the other will become part of the prizes. The guests will conduct a blind taste test of each other’s wines and score them during the event. At the end of the evening the guest who brought the first through third place wines will win a selection of the uncorked wine.
Redeeming Hope Ministries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that takes a holistic approach to improving the lives of Knoxville’s homeless and transient community. Redeeming Hope Ministries reaches out to Knoxville’s underprivileged in several ways: The Amplifier, Knoxville’s street paper reaches about 2,000 readers monthly; Food in the Fort, distributes food to Knoxville’s underprivileged. Thanks to a partnership with Beardsley Farm the Food in the Fort program also offers fresh vegetables during the spring and summer. Recently, Redeeming Hope Ministries was selected as the official charity of the prestigious Haslam Scholars program at the University of Tennessee and through this partnership Redeeming Hope Ministries has started a homeless running club and is planning a 5k fundraiser in November.
