We are pleased to announce the 2011 NYUAD International Hackathon for the Social Good in the Arab World. The exciting 3-day event is a collaboration aimed at bringing together computer science students, academics, and technology experts, from around the Arab world, US and Europe to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and entrepreneurship in computer science.
This inaugural event will take place from October 28-30 at the NYUAD Downtown Campus. Small teams of students, headed by a team leader drawn from accomplished representatives of regional and international startups, academics, professional developers, will compete by creating mobile and web applications dedicated to the Social Good in the Arab World. On the final evening, teams will present their applications before a panel of distinguished judges and guests.
