When - Friday, October 28, 2011 from 6:30pm to about 10pm when most of us will move to Amy's annual Halloween house party - or whenever you stumble home or bail for food.

Why - It's that wonderful time of year again where it's socially acceptable to drink and generally wander around the city in costumes - particularly if you're going to a costume party afterward. Even if you're not dressing up, it's bound to be some good people watching and ghoulish times. So come out and have a drink or few with your friends and fellow Yelpers (in disguise) at an awesome place for such shenanigans - Ace's bar - which is just a few blocks from the Halloween after-party we'll be moving to at around 10pm.

Transit directions: Take the 2 or 3 bus that runs along Market between Embarcadero and Powell stations to Hyde Street; or take the 19 bus from Civic Center BART up Polk Street to Sutter and walk two blocks west; or take the 47 or 49 from the Van Ness Muni Station up Van Ness to Sutter and walk three blocks west.
