RSVP will open Monday morning, October 24th, at 11AM. speaker Elizabeth Churchill is a Principal Research Scientist at Yahoo! Research, where she manages the Internet Experiences Group. She previously worked at FXPAL, Fuji Xerox's Research laboratory in Silicon Valley, and before that at PARC, the Palo Alto Research Center. Following a BSc in Experimental Psychology and an MSc in Knowledge Based Systems, Elizabeth gained a PhD in Cognitive Science from the University of Cambridge. Elizabeth has conducted research in the US, the UK and in Japan, has worked on virtual world design, and has designed interactive applications for desktop, personal and public spaces. She has co-edited several books and journal special issues, and has published over 80 articles on various aspects of interactive systems design.
