To mark the 20th birthday of his disappearance, Los Angeles Wine Tasting and Here is Elsewhere gallery will pay tribute to Serge Gainsbourg and exhibit photographs of the late superstar. Monsieur Gainsbourg is an exhibition that not only aims to pay homage to the cult artist, but also to reveal how he continues to be an inspiration for the 21st century. Photographs from cult & avant-garde artists and friends of Gainsbourg* will be shown, while contemporary artists have been commissioned to present their own interpretations of Serge.
Immerse yourself in the French sixties and learn more about Gainsbourg’s provocative and mystical life, while you enjoy cherry-picked French wines & artisan cheese pairings, catered gourmet appetizers and listen to his French Pop repertoire.
