Local filmmakers Mike Perron and Dave Jenkins have teamed up with High Street Cinema, Gilgamesh Brewing and KMUZ to bring you three
additional screenings of their hit satirical community film romp
SALEMIA, which premiered in front of a nearly sold-out crowd during
the Salem Film Festival.
Screenings are: Friday, 11/4 at 7:30pm (21 and over) $8,
and Saturday, 11/5 at 4:30pm (all ages) $8 adults and $6 students.
The 7:30pm (21 and over) is $8. All three showings will take place at High Street Cinema (445 High Street SE).
Gilgamesh Brewing and their tasty brews will be on hand for the Friday and Saturday 7:30pm showings (hence the 21 and over).
Advanced tickets will be available at Salem Cinema starting tomorrow during business hours. Tickets can be purchased prior to each showing at High Street Cinema (cash and check only).
Tickets for Friday's 7:30pm showing are $8 (adult), while the Saturday 7:30pm showing will be a special fundraiser for Salem’s own community radio station KMUZ. Tickets for this showing are $10.
The Saturday 4:30pm showing is $8 (adults) and $6 (students).
SALEMIA is rated PG-13. Filmmakers and cast will be on hand for a Q&A following each screening. Come for an evening of laughter, as we poke fun at ourselves, and our beloved quirky city, while supporting local artists who are fortunate to call Salem home.
