Epic Thanks is a global celebration of gratitude and giving in honor of radical visionaries who create hope in our world.

This special event will honor one such visionary, Tanzanian Epic Change fellow Mama Lucy Kamptoni, a woman who once sold chickens & used what she earned as the seed money to build a school in her village - a school that now serves over 500 children and is consistently ranked among the finest in her area. Mama Lucy will travel from Tanzania to attend the event, and will bring with her two students, Leah Albert & Gideon Gidori, who will be visiting the US (and leaving their country) for the very first time.

Funds raised will benefit Epic Change, a US nonprofit that is currently investing in the construction of Mama Lucy's secondary school to ensure that students who have recently graduated have a place to continue their education in Mama Lucy's loving care.
