Save The Waves Film Festival is coming soon on November 4 for its 3rd annual celebration featuring documentary surf films, activists, athletes and artists who champion the human and environmental elements of surfing and ocean conservation.
San Francisco band My Peoples will open the night with a live set of music at 6pm and films will begin at 7pm, with a collection of surfing and documentary films, including a special director’s cut of local film “Great Highway” - a rare look at the history and legend of surfing at Ocean Beach in San Francisco.
Save The Waves Film Festival also features the San Francisco premiere of “Come Hell or High Water” by director Keith Malloy, and a new short film by director Cyrus Sutton. The film festival will have a cash bar and live raffle of products including a surfboard, wetsuit, outdoor gear and more.
Save The Waves Film Festival is proudly presented by Clif Bar, Patagonia, Jim Beam, and the Rip Curl Pro Search “Somewhere in San Francisco.” Save The Waves Film Festival is also supported by Zola Acai, Pacifico, Hog Island Oyster Company, 7x7 Magazine, Ocean Vodka, Peligroso Tequila, My Peoples, TransWorld Surf, and San Franpsycho.
