This lunch series is hosted by Wendel Rosen Black and Dean at 1111 Broadway, 19th Floor in Oakland on November 10th at 11:45. Some of the topics we intend to cover are: * Licensing in and licensing out IP/technology.* How to select and protect your brand names.* What are the typical terms that companies see in a Series A round (i.e., the first outside investor round) and what to consider when you are ready to move on from friends and family to professional investors.* How do you incent employees with ownership. There will be a short presentation, followed by some time for questions and networking. Lunch will be served right at 11:45 so we can start on time and finish by 1:30. This is the first in the new series of InOak Innovation Tech Luncheons for local webtech/cleanteach/greentech/foodtech and mediatech entreprenurs. Every luncheon will offer a change to meet and talk with local entrepreneurs and services folks, and feature a talk/share/ or presentation.
