Turkey Day for Orphans @ Saad Sanctuary

Hey all,

We're happy to say we will once again host Turkey Day festivities for Silicon Valley Orphans at Saad Sanctuary this year.

Come by as early as 10am for drinks, snacks, movies, cooking.

The main event will be a lovingly prepared Turducken! Which for the uninitiated is a Chicken stuffed with cornbread, which is then stuffed into a duck stuffed with cranberries and bacon, which is then stuffed into a turkey with traditional bread stuffing. We'll be brining it in spiced Apple Cider for 12hrs prior to roasting it for 3 hrs.

It's not as extravagant as the epic meal time TurDucken (http://youtu.be/7Xc5wIpUenQ) but it'll be pretty darn close!

The TurDucken will be served at 1pm SHARP. Be here on time (or even a little before) so we can all eat together and enjoy it while it's hot.

We will provide lots of great food, cooked compliments of Nichole, Antony, Mitch, Audrey and whoever comes over to help out.

If you can bring a side dish, snack, drinks or other stuff to contribute that would be awesome (and ideal) too! If you're planning on bringing something please be sure to tease us all in the comments :)

You are welcome to invite one or two friends, but please be sure that they come to this page and RSVP so we can realistically estimate what's going on.
