Several months ago I decided I needed to have an all-out, all-frills, all-encompassing GIANT party to celebrate my 10th anniversary of arriving in California.
Then I had a second child.
So, while the nanny has been booked for MONTHS, I haven't managed to pull the trigger on any definitive plans. We've gone from elaborate pub crawl to fancy cocktail party to dance-a-thon, with everything in between. But, "big affair" isn't what I want to do.
To celebrate my 10th year of arriving in San Francisco, I simply want to hang out in San Francisco and not feel like a visitor.
Thus without fanfare or fancy dress, I want to go hang out in a dive bar and see some familiar faces. I'm thinking the Edinburgh Castle is as good a local spot as any (with enough memories for a lifetime)! And who knows, maybe we'll wander around to a few nearby spots.
I sincerely hope you'll stop by for a drink. Bring friends. Wander in, wander out. You know, the way it used to be when we all just lived within walking distance of places like these...
Mostly I'd love a chance to see you and to thank you -- for being an awesome part of the last ten years.
xoxo,
