The 2011 installment of Digital Capital Week is shaping up to be one for the ages, and we here at PointAbout want to do our part to make it a memorable experience for everyone in the DC/VA/MD tech community. That's why this year we're thrilled to be hosting a DCWeek soiree at 1410 Q Street, the brownstone we call home. We'll be opening up our swank office near Logan Circle for fellow mobile visionaries to come mix and mingle, taste a variety of wines from Rappahannock Cellars, and take in some fresh air and hops from Dogfish Head Ale House in our makeshift beer garden (weather permitting). Our space will be decked out with an art exhibit of sorts, featuring work from DC artists Glenn Fry, Wesley Clark, and Marta Perez-Garcia. We'll also be showing off some of our designers' and developers' latest creations to give our guests a flavor of the blood, sweat, and tears that go into developing apps for smartphones and tablets. We'd love to have you join us November 8th for the Taste of Tech: Drink in the #MobileRevolution soiree. If great art and free beer and wine alone aren't enough to draw you in, we'll also be giving away an iPad 2. Big ups to our friends at Rappahanock Cellars for providing the vino, and thanks as always to our (corporate) parents at Three Pillar Global for stroking the check that will make this party possible.
