Triangle Entrepreneurship Week was created out of a desire to bolster the thriving business community in the Triangle area; a region that is nicknamed the “new silicon valley” (NewsWeek 10′). Designed for entrepreneurs by entrepreneurs, the multi-faceted symposium aims to increase the awareness of North Carolina’s startup entrepreneur community, provide a networking platform and foster creativity. Attendees will walk away with applicable knowledge, resources and opportunities specific to their industry.
From November 14th – 18th, Triangle EW will focus on various industry groups such as Digital & Mobile Media, Women in business, Food & Restaurant industry and ‘Eco Entrepreneurism’ just to name a few. Entrepreneurs will find unique value through a wealth of content directly designed for each industry.
Through a series of panel discussions, Roundtables and forums designed to integrate educational opportunities with interactive discussions, registrants will gain valuable knowledge and learn from each other and industry innovators to help navigate the course from start-up to empire. Attendees will have the extraordinary opportunity to personally pitch their business plans directly to Investors.
This week was designed and founded by a group of entrepreneurs to ignite and support discussion about entrepreneurship in the Research Triangle.
DESIGNED BY ENTREPRENEURS FOR ENTREPRENEURS
TEW is not your typical entrepreneur conference. We are the un-conference. 3 things we focus on:
1. Allowing Entrepreneurs to pitch Investors
2. Providing actionable information to entrepreneurs
3. Networking with fellow entrepreneurs
These events are capped at 50 participants and focus on conversations between entrepreneurs and investors. VC’s, Angel Investors, and government attendees are welcome. There will be entrepreneurs presenting, but the real value comes when the investors and participants provide feedback and further the conversation. Networking will take place before and after the Roundtable event and individuals will be able to meet all of the attendees. If you are an entrepreneur interested in pitching, please submit your plan here.
Each “discover” event offers a unique discussion about a specific topic, providing entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn from industry experts and address pressing questions within the industry. Participants will be able to network before and after each session.
