March 17th, 2012 will mark the first of many Vancouver Retro Gaming Expo events. The Greater Vancouver Area has a large retro-gaming community and a need for more large-scale community events. Other nearby cities host yearly retro gaming expos including Seattle & Portland, but Vancouver has gone without for too long.

Unlike other cities though, Vancouverites like to party. We've taken the basics of: Vendors, Retro Video Games, Tournaments, Panels, Charity Auction, Costumes, etc. and spiced it up a bit with a licensed venue, a DJ spinning some awesome old-school tracks & remixes, and a little nerd burlesque into the evening. On top of that, we're working with Lafflines upstairs to bring in some comedy well suited for our crowd (with 2-for-1 deals).

Instead of 2-3 shorter days with the same content spread out, we crammed as much as we could into one big day. Come join us for 15 hours of celebrating with your retro gaming community.
