Best Joined Up is a Leeds based Artist's collective that have been gathering together the leading lights in Illustration, Aerosol/Street Art, Design and Animation from across the U.K to their Live art Events since 2005. All events have an open door ethos that has seen many of today's creative pioneers pass through them.
On the night we will be inviting artists to collaborate on a live illustration with a small selection of BJU resident artists, whilst showing a selection of films including works by local filmakers Clare Sturges and Keri Collins.
'The Audition' is the debut short film of director Clare Sturges, who also wrote and produced the film. A psychological thriller in the style of Hitchcock's 'Rope', this 10-minute short sees rivalling actors Oscar and Steve vie for the part of their lives... a part to die for?
Clare is currently directing a documentary that follows the lives of the women who work in Amsterdam's red-light district.

Keri Collins is a BBC broadcast writer and director with a series of award winning short films.
His latest short film 'FUNDAY' was described by Tony Grisoni (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas) as "Deliciously melancholic", and was an official selection at the Raindance Film Festival 2011. It has recently been acquired for distribution by Shorts International.
