He sits on the Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council and helped found the Angel Capital Association and Angel Capital Education Foundation. James holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin, a master's degree in political science from UCLA, and an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management. Ben Littauer, Angel Investor, Mentor. Ben is an active angel investor and mentor with a strong pragmatic business focus and a deep understanding of a wide variety of Internet technologies and their application. Ben has over 25 years’ experience in Internet technologies as an engineer, manager, entrepreneur, analyst, and management consultant. He was the Founder, President, and CTO of Baranof Software, which was sold to Tally Systems, and has also worked for Cisco Systems, Sun Microsystems, Symantec, Lotus Development, and BBN. Heather Onstott, Director at LaunchCapital. Heather heads LaunchCapital’s Small Business division. She looks for startups with smooth growth expectations and established small businesses seeking traditional financing relationships. Prior to joining LaunchCapital, Heather had over 15 years of credit and small business experience, most recently at Fidelity Investments.
