Ronald Wopereis thank you Maurice for putting me in contact with Anna ! now i do have a 40 pound per night place to stay for three nights. excellent, thank you so much for your help! warmest regards, Ron
Mike Turner Olympic anticipation Ron. Hotel prices have gone up considerably all over London. I use a combination of laterooms.com, tripadvisor and lastminute.com when I want to book a room. Lastminute are particularly good for their "secret hotel" deals. My wife stayed two nights in the Trafalgar Hilton recently for £260. Their normal advertised rate would have cost her more than double. Go to LM, enter your hotel search, click on Earls Court as a drop down and then highlight secret hotels only. You will find a good selection of hotels at great discounts. With a bit of google detective work on the more obvious phrases in the description you can often work out which hotel they are promoting. Take a look at the forums here for further info - moneysavingexpert.com

Georgina Lester Not sure Ron - it's a while since I stayed in a London hotel at that price. Have you tried lastminute.com?

Ronald Wopereis looking for a place to stay. 18 pounds per night in a 4-men dorm is not what i'm looking for, nor is 278 pounds per night near Earl's Court. Where are those hotels at 40 quid per night back in 2005?
