When January 1, 2012 rolls around, the world will awaken to see that something... has... survived... and that something is YOU. Come celebrate your incredible survival skills with Brass Tax at Public Works, and get the VIP treatment you deserve: sick beats, good eats, and last but not least, our beloved New Year's Day triage station, where you can tend to the after-effects of your NYE indiscretions and recharge yourself for MORE!
You'll be dancing the second you cross the finish line, as Brass Tax resident DJs DingDong, JoeJoe, Mace and Ernie, along with Jess Stockton (BTxLA) and special guests Ethan Miller (FnF), Dr. Whiskers (Strategik) and The Tsurata Experience (Strategik) drop the bumpin' beats that makes you shake your rump all night long.
We're kicking things off at 4pm - get there early, as we'll have our highly coveted, limited-edition Supper of Survivor medals for the first 100 people through the door!
You want drink specials? OK! From 4-6pm, we'll have a special shot available for a mere $2, so come early and ask for an Exploding Gorilla!
And speaking of Exploding Gorillas, make sure to stick around for a midnight countdown redux, because we're pretty sure that wherever you're spending NYE, your countdown isn't going to include a badass live drum solo by the one and only Ernie Trevino, or a giant exploding gorilla. But this NYD countdown WILL!
We'll have coffee and a selection of BTx-inspired meaty and veggie snacks available to keep you fueled up for the dancefloor, from peanut butter jelly time to franks 'n' beans, and of course bacon! Dinner will be available from 4pm until we run out.
And all this fun is yours to enjoy for only $5 before 6pm, and $10 after 6pm. It's the deal of the year!
See you on the dancefloor,
--BTx
p.s. Because we like to reward people who actually read these things, here's an important tip: the gorilla is from the streets. Literally. He is filthy. So when you see him on Sunday, it would be wise not to touch him. You've been warned. We will be using special gorilla-handling gloves. Seriously.
