TECHNOËL 2011, the version 2.0

A Holiday Season's party for the Montreal tech community: everyone involved with startups, entrepreneurs, web agencies... geeks and geek-lovers, all are welcome.

The concept is that small web and software startups can come together for a community party that matches their ambitions and goals. We can all celebrate the milestones achieved, successes big and small. We also celebrate the few failures and the many pivots with many drinks and some dancing.

A FIRST THIS YEAR: Live show, with "SPECIAL AND SECRET GUESTS", and with your favorite techno-geek-DJs.

Hohoho... we're keeping the band's name a secret for now, so YOU can buy a ticket, before the band's fans (they have many thousands) learn about this and DOS-attack our Eventbrite page. So, act quick, because we will announce the name before the event... at some point... And tell your colleagues, and your geek-friends.

All profits this year will go to Équiterre

IMPORTANT: We will also collect old electronic and computer equipement, so it's the perfect occasion to empty your closets of all the old routers, modems, laptops, bulky cell phones (the ones with the antenna you pull out), batteries, etc. Équiterre will redistribute the equipment to make sure it gets either reused or recycled in a proper and sustainable fashion.

The party starts at 9:00PM... DJs all night + live band a bit before midnight.

Come early, leave late. Cancel your Thursday AM meetings.
