BUSINESS NETWORKING AND BENEFIT EVENT
featuring a Photo Exhibit and Fashion Presentation
We are moving fresh fruits and vegetables into temporary housing communities in Iwaki, and we need your help.
Our Aid delivery Program targets poor families living in temporary housing with very little access to other resources. In Fukushima many crops and beef supplies have been contaminated. We are raising funding to continue a long term program for Aid to be delivered direct to victims in the Iwaki area. Residents from the Onahama and Yotsukura area have been neglected of relief intervention. We are changing that. Please help us expand our relief program to reach more people from this area.
December 13th Business Networking Event:

History: On March 14th a team of rescue workers entered a building that was closed and sealed from the outside blocked by debris, to find 135 survivors of the North East Japan Tsunami that hit the coast just 3 days before. The victims had only the clothes they entered the building with and were soaked from the water that engulfed the area. The team reported this to the Japanese military branch and 3 days later the military returned to the building to find that 30 people had died from exposure.
Rescue Japan was established the same day these fatalities were found.
Many Evacuation shelters were contacted. Stretched on a thin budget the project tried to cover as much grounds as possible in a very short period of time. The goal was to get as much Aid Relief into the north as possible to areas that needed it, as quickly as possible.
This project became the basis of discovering the needs of the many victims who were trapped and could not leave the area they were in. We found people searching debris for vacuumed packed food, canned items, and anything else they could salvage to eat. The areas first visited were so isolated that search and rescue workers had to hike into these places without vehicles and the only food that could be carried was stuffed into back-packs. Whether we used our own resources to get our people into these areas to help or sending the data to other organizations to go in and help, this task became a priority above all other duties; to help as many as we could as quickly as possible.
