This is the only event that teaches you about 26 beers - one for every letter of the alphabet! The focus is on craft brews and the experience is led by an expert who truly appreciates fine beer. It's a three hour tour of hops and barley and lagers and ales, and everything is crafted by masters who are passionate about their beers.
Chicago's seen an explosion of craft breweries in the last few years, and this AlphaBeer will focus on those Windy City brews! We'll also have beers from the surrounding region so you can get a real "taste" for the fantastic breadth of Midwestern beers.

Our AlphaBeerMaster is Chef Jill Houk. She's a lively, entertaining woman who loves sharing her passion for beer. She's a home brewer who's hosted beer appreciation events and gives presentations on beer, wine, and food. She's appeared on Good Morning America, the Cooking Channel, Lifetime, and NBC5, to name a few, and recently hosted 24 shows on delish.com. She was also known to smuggle Bell's Two Hearted Ale from Michigan when they weren't selling it in Chicago.
