There are a lot of steps that go into starting a business - and one step that seems to be overlooked by many is the process of building brand identity. If this is a topic you know little about or you don’t really see the value of investing in a design strategy then this month’s meeting is for you! Join Meredith Moore as she helps bridge the gap between brand identity and your startup business strategy. Meredith will break down what a brand really is, why it is important, and how it applies to you and your startup. Meredith will provide basic steps for you to take, what to include and what you can wait to do later, how to find a designer, how to work with one and the price ranges for your budget.

After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Meredith Moore moved to Lexington to pursue her career as a graphic designer at Lexmark International. She is the founder of the local creative initiative Shift Design Group (www.shiftdesigngroup.com) which provides a common place for local creatives to network and strengthen Lexington’s design community.
