Join the Venice Oceanarium for our annual reading of Herman Melville's Moby Dick on the beach in Venice. We'll begin around 8am on Saturday November 12th and read until we get to the halfway point - usually around 9pm or so, and then pick up from there Sunday morning, the 13th, and read until the end - usually... We'll begin around 8am on Saturday November 12th and read until we get to the halfway point - usually around 9pm or so, and then pick up from there Sunday morning, the 13th, and read until the end - usually between 9 and 10 pm.
Come for an hour or two, or come for the whole weekend. Come to read or just come to listen. Everybody who wants to read will get a chance! Bring a blanket, some water and sun screen and make a day (or two) of it! bring friends, bring kids - it's fun for the whole family!
