Last year’s TEDWomen conference has inspired an ambitious TEDx event: TEDxWomen, a one-day bi-coastal event held in NY and LA on December 1, independently organized and hosted by Pat Mitchell and The Paley Center for Media.
Speakers including Barbara Walters, singer-songwriter Morley, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Jane Fonda, Gloria Steinem and documentarion Jennifer Siebel Newsom will convene under the theme “The Conversation Continues.”
TEDxCharlotte and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation are bringing the conversation to Charlotte by hosting a TEDx viewing event around TEDxWomen at the Mint Museum in the James Duke Auditorium.
Join us for a viewing party of this exclusive live webcast of TEDxWomen! Click here for a list of this year's speakers!

The live webcast from the Mint Museum begins at 11:00am. There is no charge to attend and seating is first-come, first served. The hosted webcast will go until 4:00pm and you can come and go as your schedule permits. Come to hear your favorite speaker or come for a few hours. Parking is available at The Green on South Tryon Street or in the museum's deck at the Levine Center for the Arts, subject to standard parking rates.
There will be a lunch break from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.
Last year, 117 TEDx events in 46 countries — including the United States, Colombia, Singapore, South Africa and Brazil — were planned around the TEDWomen webcast.
Thanks to the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation for generous underwriting support of this event.
This event is in partnership with Knight Arts.
