BBY is a life-changing program for teenage girls to build their self-esteem and strengthen their testimony of Jesus Christ.
Be the Best You Camp for teenage girls is a program with a dedicated mission to help each young woman increase her self esteem, know she is a daughter of God and strengthen her testimony of Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through a series of classes, workshops and activities developed to enable teenage girls to reach their potential and find lasting happiness through developing a relationship with the Savior, which increases their self-esteem and their desire to serve others.
This camp is for young women ages 12-18. Age appropriate activities are planned. Standards from the “For the Strength of Youth” pamphlet are upheld.
A trained staff of caring LDS college-age counselors will supervise all activities through the week. Campers will be supervised from the moment they arrive at camp until they depart. These counselors are carefully interviewed and selected for their love of life and others and for the excellent way they live their life! Counselor to participant ratio is 1:10.
2011 Camp Participants thoughts on BBY Camp:
“BBY camp was the best thing that has ever happened. … Always remember to be the best person that you can be.”
“These women and this camp are what remind you to stay true to yourself. … Try to be more grateful with what you have and forget all the things you want. There is a beauty inside of you, release it. “
“I feel I am truly changed because of this camp. I am a daughter of God! I am a Princess!”
