IxDA Seattle is pleased to announce our first in a series of events focusing on the "other" user. Over the course of several events we will explore ways to apply the principles of user-centered design to our deliverables, presentations, and other communication tools. The series goal is to consider not only the end-user of our designs but the people who influence the success of our designs. For our design ideas to be successful we must effectively communicate them while considering the goals and behaviors of the "other" user, who include clients, developers, and visual designers.
We hope that you can join us and contribute your ideas and experience to the discussion.
The first series event will be co-presented by Jon Mann, Olen Ronning and Paul Hoover of Artefact. They will share not only how they found innovative ways of applying user-centered design principles to client deliverables but will leave us with practical tools that can be directly applied to our work. Following their presentation there will be an audience Q&A.
