Shrewsbury Jelly has a new home for 2012. Shropshire Council are letting us use their facilities at Shirehall. We've tried the wifi and it works. There is a bit of power and the coffee isn't too bad.   Shrewsbury Jelly in 2012    takes place on a Monday towards the end of the month. runs 9-5. is completely free. takes place at a meeting at Shirehall: the grand Shropshire Council HQ on Abbey Foregate. We're so pleased they have provided this facility for us.   Anything else? The basic format is: turn up with a laptop take a seat do some work have a bit of a chat go home   BUT lunch will not be provided. You will be very welcome to bring a packed lunch. Excellent cafes are located on site. There is also a pub adjacent and you're not too far from several other pubs, restaruants and Shrewsbury town centre. tea and coffee are available from a machine. The coffee isn't to bad. It costs 50p. The machine gives change.    We'd like to thank Shropshire Council for giving us a home through 2012. You can find out more about all of Shropshire's Jellies here.     PARKING  There is free parking in the long stay visitor car park. Don't park in any other car park or you risk being clamped (and upsetting our hosts which is worse). If the car park is full you might choose to park on the streets close to Shirehall or in the public car park down by the Abbey.  But why drive at all? why not use the online cycle journey planner to plan your bicycle trip. Shrewsbury is great for cycling. Also there are buses.  Shirehall is a short and pleasant stroll from Shrewsbury Railway Station which has excellent connections to Wellington, Telford, Whitchurch, Wem, Church Stretton, Craven Arms and Ludlow.   FUTURE DATES   With uncharacteristic planning we have programmed in a full twelve months of events.
