Every year since 1983 SWEA San Francisco has hosted our annual Christmas Fair - bringing a piece of Swedish Christmas to all of us in the Bay Area for a day!
At the Swedish Christmas Fair you'll have a unique opportunity to fill stockings with traditional crafts, imported gifts and delicacies from Scandinavia. Enjoy Swedish folk music and dancing and experience the colorful, traditional, regional Swedish costumes. Let your children meet the Swedish Santa and take them fishing for surprise goodies at the popular Fiskdammen (fish pond). You will also get a chance to enjoy Pepparkakslandet where children can decorate their own gingerbread figures. The traditional Glögg (mulled wine) is sure to bring Holiday cheer, especially when paired with culinary delights like the popular open-faced shrimp sandwiches, meatballs, waffles with strawberry jam, and cinnamon rolls. And Lucia will visit four times during the day!
