Tonight's party with James Kyson and Henry J. Kim is a fundraiser to support a joint project between San Francisco and Seoul production companies. You can read more at
http://foundasian.org and
http://sfseoul.wordpress.com. It's a fundraising party and not a screening.
The event will be at Aato, Jennie Kim's Korean fusion restaurant, at 1449 Lombard Street and Van Ness. Food will be available to order and bar will be no-host.
We recommend parking a few blocks down at the Lombard Street Garage, 2055 Lombard Street x Webster. It's $1/hour. Street parking around that area may be difficult.
We're requesting a $20 donation at the door. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Creative Interventions (
http://www.creative-interventions.org), a resource center founded by Mimi Kim to create and promote community-based responses to interpersonal violence.
Thank you to Empty Kingdom, Asian Business League of San Francisco (ABL-SF), Korean American Professional Society (KAPS), Kollaboration SF, Henry J. Kim, Keith Kamisugi, Louis Hong, Claire Chang, Suhi Koizumi, Min Lee, Dennis Kwon, Tae E. Kim, Amy Kang and Christine Chang for being part of the host committee!
