Hey Portland!
Welcome to PI’s 3rd annual Winter Warm Up Christmas Caroling flash mob!
Just read and follow these easy instructions:
1. Everyone will gather at the corner of NE 11 Ave. & NE Multnomah St. (across the street from Lloyd Center Mall) for an initial briefing at 12 NOON sharp.
2. We will quietly enter Lloyd Center in small groups.
3. Some will assemble on the east end of the ice rink (on the ground floor), and some will assemble on the bridge (over the ice rink).
4. 10 lead singers will begin to sing the first of 2 pre-determined Christmas carols. This will be the signal for everyone to start singing.
The 1st song will be "Let it Snow" and the 2nd song will be "Rudolph the Red Nosed Raindeer."
5. The entire building will be filled with the wondrous echo of hundreds of singing voices.
6. After the 2 songs have been completed everyone will quietly disperse, leaving no explanation to the hundreds of surprised holiday shoppers. Remember please NO APPLAUSE (it ruins the effect).
6. The entire event is about 5 minutes!
