Howdy doo all!
I've been shooting video of the Austin Cycling Community since mid-September and have a screening for the finished documentary on Sunday, dec. 11th. There's a collage of events and people included from social cycling events like TNSR and the Moon Bike rides, BMX Jams, cyclocross competitions, Tour de Fat, bicycle polo, pedicabbers, commuters, biking politicians, advocate and community groups like Austin Cycling Association and Yellow Bike, as well as other tid bits here and there. The title of the doc is:
"Spoke Folk: an Ethnographic study of the Austin Cycling Community"
If you are a part of the Cycling community, or just an enthusiast, or a hater even, I'd LOVE for y'all to come down and watch the documentary. I'll be there so you can tell me what you think of it as well: what can be improved upon, etc.
The screening will be held at the UT Student Activity Center. See Map:

If you're planning to attend with a car Sunday's RTF screenings at the Student Activity Center, you can park in state lot number 7 or any of state lots that are across MLK. It's FREE and it's CLOSE. Yea! :)l
This is also a screening for UT's Radio, Television, & Film graduate Film Production program. So if you come, you'll also be able to see a wonderful collection of documentaries and narrative films from these peoples.
Hope to see you there
