Casino Trip and Skiing trip to Reno / Lake Tahoe

Pick Up on January 6th 2012 at the San Francisco Embarcadero BART Station bus zone at 7:30 AM with a 7:45 AM departure to Oakland. Pick up in Oakland is on 718 Franklin St. (Ruby King Bakery Café) at 8:15 AM with a departure time at 8:30 AM.

Pick Up on January 6th 2012 at the San Francisco Embarcadero BART Station bus zone at 7:30 AM with a 7:45 AM departure to Oakland. Pick up in Oakland is on 718 Franklin St. (Ruby King Bakery Café) at 8:15 AM with a departure time at 8:30 AM.

The next stop will be a 15 min. rest stop at the McDonalds restaurant in Auburn.

First stop in Reno at about 12:00 PM (noon) at the Silver Legacy Casino for a 3 hour stay with a 3:15 PM departure for the Grand Sierra Resort, which is where we will stay overnight.

Our Saturday morning (1/7) departure is at 8:45 AM. Arrival at John Ascuaga's Nugget in Sparks, Nevada at 9:00 AM for a 3 hour stay.

Upon arrival at both the Silver Legacy and the Nugget, all will receive a $5 table or slots play for our group. The Grand Sierra is giving a $6 food credit at their restaurants.

Our departure from the Nugget is at 3:15 PM and form there we’re heading for the Auburn McDonalds rest stop. On to Oakland for the Franklin St. coffee shop drop off. Our arrival time back in San Francisco at the Embarcadero BART will be at about 7:30 to 7:45 PM depending on traffic.

Skiing option

For people wishing to go skiing on Saturday morning, there is a shuttle to the Mount Rose Ski Area provided by the hotel, which will return back to the hotel by 2:30 PM. Please bring your ski gear, which can be stored in the belly of our bus. The group rate (20 people) at the mountain is $55, which is $14 less than the normal prices. Seniors pay $44 per ticket. Rentals at Mt. Rose are $36 for snowboards or skis, boots and poles.

Pricing

The price of the trip for R/T bus transportation, lodging for 1 night at the Grand Sierra Resort, and transfers to the 3 casino properties is:

$69 triple (3 people in a dbl/dbl Queen room with 1 roll-away bed)

$79 double with 2 Queen beds

$89 single with 1 King size bed

It is agreed that there will be a $4 gratuity p/p for the bus driver on the return trip.

Practical information

Please remember to bring a swimsuit and shower shoes for the sauna, spa and gym for the Grand Sierra Resort stay.
