According to the locals, Anvil Pub is one of the coolest places in the Deep Ellum neighborhood of Dallas. It’s about a 20 minute walk from the center of downtown (30 minutes from the Convention Center). However, if you hop on the Green Line and get off at Baylor, it's a 5 minute walk.
FYI: The NMRT social (5:30pm-7:30pm) is scheduled to be at City Tavern (1402 Main St.), and the After Hours Social (10:00pm - ??) is at La Grange (2704 Elm St, right by Anvil in Deep Ellum).
