If you missed our previous #BlueKey tweetathons it works like this: Just like in a good old-fashioned telethon, we’re going to talk #bluekey all the way from 9 am – 9 pm ET that day.

To prepare, just make sure you’re following @UNRefugeeAgency (that’s us). Then, whenever you can during the day, just sign into Twitter and follow the #bluekey hashtag to participate in the conversation.
We’re especially excited that Lilli Tnaib (@RefugeesConnect), Public Information Associate at UNHCR, will be joining the tweetathon from 12-1 pm ET. Lilli runs the social media accounts for Refugee Connection and manages UNHCR’s Teacher’s Corner, which contains free resources to help teachers educate their students about refugee and forced displacement issues.
And, as much as possible during the tweetathon, encourage your Twitter followers to get one of their own $5 #bluekeys and one to share with a friend to make a difference to refugees worldwide. What easier way to give back this holiday season?
