From June 3-9, 2012, I'm bicycling in AIDS/LifeCycle. It's a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.
That's 78 miles a day.
Is this a creative way of killing myself? Possibly. However it also should be a LOT of hard-working fun and an experience of a lifetime.
I'm not the fittest person in the world, I'm not the fastest, but if you know me... you know I can be goddamn stubborn at times. I'm applying that bullishness here.
I'm going to damn well do this, and I'm going to raise a bunch of cold hard cash to support the cause.
Yes, I've set a large goal - I don't know if I'll make it - but I've got 2/3rds of the year to do this & I want to see if I can raise at least $1,500 by the end of the year. I'm betting you awesome people can help me beat that.
Help me support LifeCycle by giving what you can. English people - that goes double for you, your money is worth more here ;)
PS - please spread this around as much as you can to anyone you think might be interested. The more the merrier :)
