About IFMSA:
The IFMSA is an independent, non-governmental and non-political federation of medical students’ associations throughout the world. In 2010, IFMSA consists of national medical student associations in 97 countries on six continents. Our members represent around 1, 200,000 medical students worldwide.
Since 1951, IFMSA has been run for and by medical students on a non-profit basis. Recognized officially as a Non-Governmental Organization within the United Nations’ system, it is recognized by the World Health Organization as the international forum for medical students. IFMSA is registered as a charitable organization in the Netherlands.
About IFMSA_EGYPT
Is a full member of the international federation of medical student association (IFMSA). It is a non governmental organization consists of 12 local committee full member covering 12 faculty of medicine all over Egypt.
About SCORP
The newest one of the six standing committees in IFMSA-EGYPT. It was initiated in 2007 to gather medical student from different universities around Egypt and guide them to advocate humanitarian issues& promote relevant projects in Egypt.
The program will imply three sessions :
-Child abuse physical & sexual
-Psychological abuse
- child rights
Agenda of the Conference:
9.5-10---> registration
10-10.5--> opening ceremony (welcoming word/ introduction of IFMSA, SCORP and SCMSA/introduction of doctors)
11-12 --> session 1 psychological abuse By Dr. Mahmoud Hamoda
12-1 -->break & prayer
1-2 --> session 2 Child physical& sexual abuse By Dr. Dina Shukry
2.5-3.5 --> session 3 Child rights By Dr. Aziza Helmy
3.5-4 -->closing ceremony
4-5 --> lunch
5-7 -->social

Registration fees :
Early Registration (Till 20th of December) : 30 L.E.
Late Registration (Till 25th of December) : 40 L.E.
