HOSTED BAR ALL NIGHT BY KANON ORGANIC VODKA!!!
at one of SF's Hidden Gems "The Barrelhouse"
"The Barrelhouse" is an invitation-only venue catering to the creative community. Built shortly after the Great Quake of 1906, the BarrelHouse served as a wine cask storage facility. During prohibition, it came to function as a safe haven for those on the looser side of the law. In the 60’s, it was purchased by an eccentric advertising photographer who used it as a live/work space. In the 80’s and 90’s The BarrelHouse was dormant until it was discovered by PJ Pereira & Andrew O’Dell in 2008, thus beginning this new chapter of the BarrelHouse story.
Musical artists Wyclef Jean, Brett Dennen, Mayer Hawthorne, ChkChkChk, We Are Scientists and Sean Hayes have all performed free concerts here. There have been presentations by director, animator and screenwriter Brad Bird, composer Michael Giacchino, and inventor Saul Griffiths. Comedians Christian Finnegan and Pawl Hawkins have donated laughs. Private movie screenings of Warren Miller’s Dynasty and Lemonade by Eric Proulx’s have been shown.
"The BarrelHouse" fosters a new breed of company-meets-pop-culture–savvy presenting fun, free events in San Francisco and bringing the creative community together for good.

For a great cause "The Falling Whistles" campaign for peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
"Falling Whistles" sells whistles to raise money for education, advocacy, and the rehabilitation of war-affected people in Congo. The organization got its name from a journal written by its founder, sharing his experiences during a trip to eastern Congo in 2008. During that trip, Falling Whistles' founder met a group of former child soldiers who told him that some children who are too young to carry weapons were sent into battle armed only with whistles. By wearing whistles, the campaign aims to use this weapon as a tool of protest and to raise awareness of the situation in Congo.
