We will set up "professional style" with tasting stations. Each participant to bring 1-2 bottles of a favorite, or even some bizarre, strange wine you've never tried.....Google it, LEARN ALL YOU CAN ABOUT IT.....use real or made up fancy wine language, and man your pouring station for at least the first 20-30min of the event, pouring tastes and informing tasters about the wine. The tasters will gradually switch off with pourers, in several "rounds".....bring a small printed card to tell about your wine once you have left your station, and 1-2 wine glasses so we will have enough.
If you have a favorite cheese or hor d' ourve you want to bring, that would be awesome, but not required. We will have an assortment of breads and cheeses to clear your pallete. ANY WINE GOES - NO SNOBBERY.....we will have some homemade selections, ports, meads, mulled wines, top shelf and low shelf selections.....a unique diversity of university, ArToReTuM style!........come one, come all!....wear some cool wine-bibbing clothes!.....
Please drop an email, or post on this page so i have an idea of how many to expect....thanks!
