DESCRIPTION:This last summer former Ant resident Ben Ballerstein\, for his
 Master&#039\;s thesis in Environmental Policy and Democratic
 Processes at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry
 and the Maxwell School at Syracuse University\, embarked on a
 road-trip with two other students to discover housing
 cooperatives across America and film a beautiful documentary with
 those who founded and inhabit these places.\n
 \n
 To raise money for gear and hardware\, software\, and trip
 expenses\, Ben launched a Kickstarter campaign
 http://kck.st/gOZ1MA\, to which some of us contributed. In Ann
 Arbor this November\, Ben presented near final cuts at
 http://NASCO.coop/institute/ and today burned videodiscs for
 backers to share.\n

 Join us Friday evening. The United Nations declared 2012 the
 International Year of the Cooperative. We&#039\;ll have the
 popcorn ready!\n
