Welcome to the greatest new year's eve party you have ever been to.
There are only two places in South America that are worthy of your time for New Year's Eve. Rio and Valparaiso. This year, we take Valparaiso.

Welcome to the greatest new year's eve party you have ever been to.
There are only two places in South America that are worthy of your time for New Year's Eve. Rio and Valparaiso. This year, we take Valparaiso.
We are going to begin the night in my apartment/on my terrace with some potluck dishes "para picar" and a few cocktails. I have (in all modesty) the best view of the city (Take a look at the event photos for those that doubt it), and would love to share it with all of you. It has been an absolutely amazing 6 months here and it would be doubly amazing to bring in the new year with amazing people like yourself.
We will have the best view of the fireworks on the bay, from Valpo to Con Con without having to deal with the LARGE, LARGE crowds down on the beaches.
After which, we will dance the night away on my terrace. We always have the option of going to the club (for those who make it till 4am) and I have also arranged for my favorite and trusty colectivo driver bring a van and stick around all night (and day) so that he can drive any and all of us to whatever our destinations may be.
The party is a potluck, so bring something "para picar" and also BYOB so bring your favorite form of liquid libations and we can all share!
Also, please note: Keep in mind that between Valpo and Vina there are 2 million people that live here and on NYE 2 million join them on the harbor and beaches for the live fireworks show. So it can get quiiiiite crowded close to the beach/harbor area. So try to leave a little earlier to get here a little earlier and avoid yourself a headache.
Also, my number is 98787018 if anyone has any issues. We have Arturo (the trusty colectivo driver) on call all night as a just in case so we should be covered on all fronts.
