Proficient in all forms of heavy bass music Risen aka True Risen has been one of the most wildly successful Upstate New Yorkbrokenbeat pioneers. Consistently performing throughout the state and across the northeast Risen has become a staple forall forums of drum n bass, jungle, and breakbeat music. His sound ranges from the atmospheric tones of intelligent drum n bassto the bass heavy dirty grime that pulsates the dancefloor with every drop. Releasing several mix compilations per year Risen has beena formidable partner in local festivals such as Desiderata, Strawberry Jam, Pot Luck Picnic, Manafest, and many more. His monthly appearanceshave seen him play in next to all of the major club events every month such as Do the Dubz, Quikk Fixx, and Bubble Halloween.
With Risen's music career well on track he is also one of the top industry sound engineers. From festival to club performances to doingbass heavy sound installations, Risen and his company Perceptive Music are one of today's most well rounded artists.

(A.K.A. Omari Nkosi/The N.H. Enigma) was born on the West Coast and raised in New England. In 1997 the deep and varied sounds of the North East electronic music scene intrigued and captivated Nkosi and his love affair with electronic music began. Nkosi soon started promoting electronic music dance events along side Tommie Gunn and Netwerk One productions, as well as Keith Haas from 2am Artist Management. His love for the music and eagerness to submerge himself into the industry, he quickly climbed the ranks at Netwerk One and within the local New England scene, becoming one of the more prominent promoters on the East Coast. While booking for Netwerk One and 2am, Nkosi helped produced some of the most memorable and largest events held in New England and FL, from 1998 thru 2005, booking such acts as Rabbit in the Moon, DJ Irene, Richard Humpty Vision, Dave Ralph, Bad Boy Bill, Sandra Collins, Christian Smith, Space Men, Eric davenport, Arman Vanhelden, DJ Bam Bam, DJ Venom, Q-Bert and KRS1 to name just a few. By the end of 2003 Nkosi bought his first records and discovered his new love - mixing. By this point he started his own booking agency, Quantum Artist Management and started promoting himself and several of his peers while hosting one-off events in New England. Nkosi’s style is Influenced by DJ's and Producers such as; Josh Wink, Carl Cox, UMEK, Sasha Carrasi, Nick Miur,Phunk Investigation, Modular Punk, Dubfire, Derek May,Frankie Bones, Mark De Pulse, Specktre, Ritchie Hawtin, Dave Clark, John Digweed, Timo Mass, James Holden, Dusty Kidd, Deadmau5, Adam Freeland, Meat Katie, Cristian Smith, Steve Porter, OSHEEN , Tommie Gunn, Paul Dailey, King Midas, Jack Mcdevitt, and MO7S. Nkosi has an amazing ability to create long, smooth mixes and Flawless blends, as well as accenting the sounds that audiences are calling for with his unique and diverse track selection ranging from Soulful Deep-Tech, Funky Tech-House, Bass-Driven Techno, Progressive Tech-House, Progressive Techno, Minimal Techno, Progressive House, and (occasionally Progressive orTech Breaks,) Making him The N.H. Enigma, Nobody in NH sounds like him. IN 2009 Nkosi teamed up with KVN in the studio “as The Collective” making the same PROGRESSIVE/TECH sound, and unique style that he’s known for. Thus ending his 6-year hiatus from production. Opening for Dj logic twice and being the first live dj on Wxgr, Nkosi has played all over New England, As well as Heading to places outside New England like Florida ,North Carolina this year......Giving up Quantum to his former agent completely, Nkosi is In the studio banging out tracks with KVN/El Camino as "THE COLLECTIVE" with 2 releases this year "Moonfading","Yo Soy" available at Beatport.com on Blinded Records, more remix/rework/original for release with more releases due out with in the new year on Blinded Records, plus recently starting"FREQUENCY FRIDAYS" New England's newest, and fastest growing EDM internet radio show. NkosI has been very busy blazing a trail of bass-driven progressive and techno fire sprinkled with some soulful house, banging the airwaves and rocking stages up and down the East Coast.
