For the first time in years --since I dropped out and they graduated-- Brian, Chris and I are playing a show together. We'll be at the legendary Hotel Utah in SF on Sunday Jan 8th. We're each going to play a set as well as sing harmony with each other... guitar based shenanigans are likely too. When I met Brian I had never played electric guitar and he had never finger picked, when I met Chris he was only just beginning to tie his songwriting to his deep sense of poetry. It's been a while since we've performed together, but we've influenced each other quite a bit; Brian is finger picking beautifully detailed indie folk, Chris is working on a new record of killer rooty pop, and I'm writing melodies and chords changes (and still banging out dirty old blues).
