Learn to build what customers want. Lean Startup Machine is a competitive weekend workshop where you will apply Lean Startup techniques in the real world. If you attended Leancamp London, this is the perfect way to apply what you learned in the real world. You should attend if your startup team does not yet have Product/Market Fit, or if you are an aspiring founder who wants to learn Lean Startup methodologies from the ground up. For best results, bring at least one co-founder with you to the event. If you have existing co-founders and none of them attend, you'll have to work on a new startup idea. But don't worry, you'll still learn relevant strategies to apply to your own business. No co-founders? No problem. You'll meet many talented and smart people and have the opportunity to hear their new startup ideas. Got an idea of your own? Great. You'll get a chance to give your elevator pitch at the kickoff. Friday you will show up and enjoy pizza and refreshments while networking with mentors and other attendees. Bring an idea to pitch if you want to form a new team for the weekend OR bring your existing team to validate/invalidate the startup you are currently working on. After identifying the core problem, problem-solution hypothesis, and all the assumptions you need to test, we will break for the night.Saturday those assumptions will be tested directly on customers using an array of customer development techniques. Most of your assumptions will probably be WRONG, so you will iterate rapidly to validate/invalidate a new set of assumptions. You will go through several Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), most likely a landing page of some kind, in an effort to further test and refine your hypotheses. In the evening, you will briefly present your Business Model Canvas to a panel of mentors. At last, on Sunday afternoon you will present your final learnings to the other teams and to a jury. This is not just a learning exercise, as you will compete with the other teams to win additional mentorship and support.FRIDAY, Feb. 36:00 PM - Networking & Pitches7:30 PM - Teams Finalized8:00 PM - Keynote Speech9:00 PM - Start Working! 11:00 PM - Venue ClosesSATURDAY, Feb. 49:00 AM - Doors Open12:00 PM - Lunch Workshops6:00 PM - Dinner Workshops7:00 PM - Canvas Presentations11:00 PM - Venue ClosesSUNDAY, Feb. 59:00 AM - Doors Open12:00 PM - Teams Finalize MVPs3:30 PM - Presentation Slides Due4:00 PM - Presentations Begin6:00 PM - Winners Announced 7:30 PM - Wrap-up, Head to Local Pub Questions: ryan@leanstartupmachine.com nayia@leanstartupmachine.com ***All tickets sales are final and non-refundable.***The Lean Startup is a trademark and service mark owned by Eric Ries.
